This has probably been covered ad nauseum, but I couldn't find anything in the search.
My husband returned last week from a US tour, and he's preparing to go to Europe next month. Since he's returned, he's been crying. A lot. About everything. He was always a sensitive dude, but it's a bit much even for him. The other day, he was looking at pics of his bandmates on his iphone, and he teared up and said, "I miss him." I'm not kidding.
How do I get him to snap out of it? And how can I better prepare for him to come home next time? I don't mean to sound insensitive. I really want to help. We have little kiddies, and it's a little strange that Daddy is so down in the dumps.
So far: we've spent time alone, we have a family trip planned this weekend, and he's seeing a therapist. Any tips would be appreciated!

Actually post-tour depression is extremely common, but no one wants to talk about it because they're afraid they're the only one, or they're afraid of snarky responses.
