Since I do not like movies about vampires, I was completely stunned when I watched "Interview with the Vampire" - I think that's really a fantastic movie. I also tried Van Helsing and never watched Twilight or Blade...so I am not a real pro when it comes to this...
I just like to see nothing more then some blemish balm on the actors faces and most of Vampire movies just don't get along without heavy make up. I like natural looks

My favorite Vampire movie is Blade.Blade is very interesting movie i really like its story. I love to watched that movie again and again.Its a great movie.

The 1931 version with Bela Lugosi is the creepiest.
He ruled, and was immortalized in the movie Ed Wood.

I liked "Queen of the Damned". It bombed but had a great hard rock soundtrack (Lestat as rock star)and the last appearance of Aaliyah before her untimely death. Plus Stuart Townsend made a much more seductive Lestat than Cruise ever could. Also the version of Dracula starring Frank Langella was great for it's time, although romanticized, and he also played Drac on Broadway. Nobody mentioned the over-the-top "Bram Stoker's Dracula" by Coppola, which had some unintentional hysterical moments (Keanu's accent etc)
