The Fifth Beatle 

TEG founder Vivek J. Tiwary is writer of “The Fifth Beatle” a New York
Times #1 Best-Selling graphic novel and forthcoming television event
series, based on the life of Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein. Most
notably, TEG has secured unprecedented access to Beatles music for the

Astronaut Academy 

“It’s Harry Potter in Space!” TEG’s next TV + film project tells the story of students training to be heroes at a school called the Astronaut Academy. When a danger the adults can’t handle threatens the entire universe, Hakata Soy rallies several of his friends to battle it.

 

Jagged Little Pill 

TEG is adapting seven-time Grammy Award winner Alanis Morissette’s 1995 hit album for the Broadway stage. Two-time Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Kitt (“Next To Normal”, Green Day’s “American Idiot”) has signed on to provide orchestrations and arrangements.

Asha Ascending 

TEG founder Vivek J. Tiwary is writing the illustrated Young Adult novel “Asha Ascending” with art by award-winning artist Sara Richard. In a near-future where surgical implants access a virtual Internet, a teenage girl coder must help an irresponsible party-boy save his mother’s life… as they race against an evil faction to unlock the code to immortality. TEG is a producer of “American Idiot,” the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical adaptation of the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning album from superstar rock band Green Day.

 

The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy 

TEG is a producer of “The Addams Family,” the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical based on Charles Addams’ iconic cartoons that spawned the hit TV series and several successful films.  Original cast starred Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth, who were later replaced by Brooke Shields and Roger Rees.

A Little Night Music 

TEG is a financier of “A Little Night Music,” the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of the classic Stephen Sondheim musical.  Original cast starred Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, who were later replaced by Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch.

Punk Rock Dad 

Adapted from Pennywise lead singer Jim Lindberg’s hilarious and heartfelt memoir/parenting manual, Punk Rock Dad examines the heart-warming story of the ultimate rebel in his attempt to be the perfect dad. TEG sold this sitcom project to CBS where a fantastic pilot script was written by Mike Mariano and Alan Kirschenbaum (“Raising Hope,” “My Name Is Earl”). Vivek J. Tiwary served as Executive Producer alongside partners Eric & Kim Tannenbaum (“Two and a Half Men”), and Andrea Nevins & Cristan Reilly (“The Other F Word”).

The Ride: New York 

Developed by Counts Media, a company founded by TEG and the creators of Blue Man Group, THE RIDE is a new immersive entertainment tourist experience.  Moving through the city on the tallest mode of transportation allowed on the streets of Manhattan – this multimedia custom-made bus is fully loaded with advanced production capabilities rivaling that of an IMAX theater.  THE RIDE will transform the way you see New York.

Down and Dirty Pictures 

TEG is Executive Producing a feature film adaptation of “Down and Dirty Pictures,” the bestselling Hollywood expose about the rise of independent film in the 1990s. Ken Bowser (“Easy Riders, Raging Bulls”) will be directing a screenplay by Dean Craig (“Death at a Funeral”) and Joshua James, and the film features an ensemble cast headed by Vincent D’Onofrio, and Andy Serkis, Toby Jones, and Matthew Perry.

 

Mel Brooks’ The Producers 

TEG was a Limited Partner in Mel Brooks’ smash-hit Broadway musical “The Producers,” which set box office records and won a record 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

A Raisin in the Sun 

TEG was a lead producer of the critically-acclaimed first Broadway revival of “A Raisin In The Sun,” starring Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. “A Raisin In The Sun” won 2 Tony Awards including a historic win for Phylicia Rashad as the first African-American to win Best Actress. The show also set records at the box office and is credited with bringing a new, multi-ethnic, all-ages audience to Broadway.

Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein 

TEG was a Limited Partner in Mel Brooks’ Broadway musical “Young Frankenstein,” based on his classic 1974 comedy film. The show ran on Broadway from November 2007 to January 2009.

Fischerspooner Featuring the Wooster Group 

In 2008, TEG produced a theatrical collaboration between electropop/performance artists Fischerspooner and avant-garde theatre collective The Wooster Group (founded by Willem Dafoe, Spalding Gray, and others) that launched the Sao Paulo Art Bienal.
